Our Acting Executive Director, Dr. Beth-Sarah Wright, is currently serving as Professor-in-Residence with the Anglican Schools Commission in Australia, leading a season of deep formation, learning, and connection. Over the past weeks, she has engaged hundreds of students, educators, and leaders through keynotes, workshops, and forums across Toowoomba, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, and Brisbane, culminating in her upcoming keynote address at the Anglican Schools Australia Conference in August. Dr. Wright warmly invites us into her journey, sharing moments of insight and inspiration along the way.
One of the highlights so far was the Year 10 Dignity Symposium at St Hilda’s School on the Gold Coast, which brought together over 300 students from 12 Anglican schools across Southern Queensland. The day was filled with thoughtful dialogue, creative exercises, and powerful reflections on what dignity truly means:

Students left inspired, reflecting that “dignity is within every one of us… and days like this remind us to open our minds and look through many different lenses.”
At the heart of this work is the DIGNITY Lens, a framework that invites communities to rediscover human dignity, lean into their core values, and live authentically into their mission and purpose.
Dr. Wright also shared her insights on mental health and spirituality through the lens of dignity at the Conference for Colleges and Universities of the Anglican Communion at St. John’s College, University of Queensland. One participant wrote:
“Beth-Sarah invited us to get curious about people’s stories because ‘stories are the currency for dignity.’ Her reminder that our lives are reflected in the story of Christ — and the call to offer stories of hope — was deeply moving and relevant for all spiritual perspectives.”
