The Absalom Jones Episcopal Center for Racial Healing is inviting the community to Finding Our People: The Untold Story of Juneteenth on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Center.
The event will feature Dr. Daniel Black, author, storyteller, professor of African and African American Studies at Clark Atlanta University, and Director of Mighty Voices of Power. The gathering will also include uplifting music from Mighty Voices of Power, Juneteenth trivia and prizes, and light refreshments rooted in Juneteenth tradition.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available one block from the Center.
